Dr. Samura Mathew Wilson Kamara has chosen Honorable Chernor Ramadan Maju Bah (Chericoco) as the running mate for Sierra Leone’s forthcoming general elections in June.
The APC flagbearer Dr. Samura Mathew Wilson Kamara in consultation with the APC National Advisory Committee (NAC) has given thorough consideration in determining the best path forward for a prosperous APC and even more importantly, a prosperous Sierra Leone.
According to the current APC running mate, Honorable Chernor Ramadan Maju Bah, stated that the party is proud and grateful that so many of party supporters stood up and lent a voice to the issue of gender equality. The party will continue to work relentlessly to eliminate the gender divide.
Mr. Bah continued that party members will also continue to roll up sleeves and do everything within their powers and resources in order to improve healthcare, educational attainment and the quality of life for all women, men and children of Sierra Leone.
“Now and always, we believe in the unity of APC and are hopeful that one day our vision of women as key political players will become a reality.
To our constituents, we urge you all to join hands, be active, and support Dr. Samura Kamara and Honorable Chernor Bah as we gear up for the June 24th, 2023 General Elections. We can only achieve greatness by working together.”
He also thanked Dr. Samura Mathew Wilson Kamara for trusting him with his huge responsibility of running with him in these very critical elections.
“There are so many other competent, experienced APC members you could have called upon but you chose me. I do not and will not take this for granted. I accept this vote of confidence, this honour, this privilege with humility.
I assure you of my absolute commitment to the cause of the APC and to your vision for the development of our country”, Mr. Bah said.
