Saptieu E. Saccoh of ARG, staff assembles in one the visited district
Saptieu E. Saccoh, Administrator and Registrar General of the Office of the Administrator and Registrar General (OARG) with her team has concluded on the spot visits, conducted training on the registrations of legal instruments to regional offices in Bo, Kenema, Makeni, and Port-Loko.
Madam Saccoh intimated that over the years, businesses and land registrations keep increasing in the provincial districts which the ARG thought apt in establishing as well as rejuvenating those offices in the districts.
Creating and reviving in the provinces was one of OARG’s commitment to the decentralization process which is also a way of ensuring people living in the provinces have a fair share of state institutions and services, she said.
District stakeholders acknowledged the Administrator and Registrar General and her staff making the various offices functional.
The district’s stakeholders said the offices are now worthy of handling such important and sensitive documents, which will now be helping them greatly in securing their properties and businesses.
The ARG was pleased with the work being done by the staff in the various offices and encouraged them to continue a good job, saying in serving the public one should do so diligently. Newly assigned National Youth Service graduates were also introduced to their various locations.
The ARG continues to make numerous strides to make sure that instruments deposited at the OARG are safe and secured. Digitization, regional connectivity, preparing regulations among others form part of the ARG’s hard work
