Alpha Umaru Bah has won the Tan Sari Limkokwing Award for Academic Excellence during the University’s graduation ceremony held last weekend at the Bintumani Freetown Conference center in Freetown.
Mr Bah studied Diploma in Sound and Music Technology in the Faculty of Creative Multimedia. His areas of specialization are recording, mixing and mastering audio contents (sound engineer), and sound designing and Audio live sound engineering.
He is a multi-versatile student who works tirelessly to be the best version of him. He is hardworking and polite . He did his internship at Sky Radio and later trained as a volunteer journalist in the communication media. Currently, he is a teacher and education personnel.
Mr Bah was honored of this award at first university’s first ever graduation ceremony in Sierra Leone on the 11th February, 2023.
During the ceremony the University certified nearly 1000 professional students who are already creating positive impacts in the industry by leveraging technology.
During the ceremony, awards were given to certain sets of students who performed excellently in their academic works and portray absolute mastery of their subjects.
