On Friday 26, January 2024 Ecobank Sierra Leone and Cica Motors Sierra Leone have partnered with each other to make life easy for their customers.
This event unfolded at Ecobank’s headquarters on Charlotte Street in Freetown.
Speaking during the ceremony, the Managing Director of Ecobank Sebastian Ashong Katai Ecobank said the Bank exists primarily to support financial mediation in our economy and freedom, assuring that it is one of their fundamental aims.
The MD Mr Katai continued that they wanted to make sure that people get access to finance, and by so doing, they would be able to access to make their Worthy.
He disclosed that they were also endeavoring and trying to make people’s dream come true and live their lives the way they wanted it to be.
ECobank further disclosed that they are operating in 33 countries in the continent of Africa with similar operations and services in each of the countries.
As a financial institution, he said they wanted to find ways to deliver better services to their customers, emphasizing that the partnership between ECobank and Cica Motors is in line with their vision as a financial institution.
The MD Katai said they wanted to facilitate the process so that the customers of both institutions would have an experience of each other’s products.
He emphasized that the partnership between ECobank and Cica Motors is a solution that gives their customers an overview, but stressing that it is something exciting in the market as customer could have a car and later pay for it at a point in time.
Sebastian said they wanted their customers to lookout for that type of partnership that gives value to them.
He said they have Corporate, financial and consumer banking units all trying to build more partnerships for the customers.
Sales and Marketing Manager at Cica Motors, Calvin Hans-Kawa said he was glad for the partnership between ECobank and Cica Motors.
He said they started the journey in 2023, with a goal for Sierra Leoneans to own cars and ensure to find solution to transportation constraints with quality cars.
Mr. Kawa assured that EcoBank and Cica Motors will seek the need of the people of Sierra Leone by way of financing the people with both parties involved.
He said the agreement highlighted their determination, for instance, by adopting a more friendly approach to ownership.
Mr. Kawa hoped that vehicle financing scheme will maximize ownership of vehicles, especially for government workers, which will lead to a successful change for Sierra Leoneans nationwide.
He said it was an exciting moment for Sierra Leoneans to access new vehicles with the terms and conditions, hoping that it would be a success.
Conclusively, Mr. Kawa said it is a wonderful collaboration between ECobank and Cica Motors.
Head of Consumer Banking at Ecobank, Kate Thompson officially announced the beginning of strategic partnership with the aims of offering a product to add value to their customers.
Madam Thompson further stated that their collaboration is in line with ECobank’s core values in offering a better way For their customers.
She emphasized that the partnership will make a prospective customer to acquire a key at Cica Motors.
She said, together they were embarking on a special journey with dedication.
