The President of the Republic of Sierra Leone Julius Maada Bio together with Orange SL Foundation has officially turned the Sod for the construction of an Ultramodern Early Childhood Development Center in Sarguehun Town Pujehun District Southern Sierra Leone.
It is under the distinguished patronage of His Excellency the President of Sierra Leone, Retired Brigadier Julius Maada Bio and other senior government officials.
This is part of Orange SL Foundation commitment towards the government’s Free Quality Education agenda.
The four classrooms will be furnished and beautifully designed to meet the admiration of infant children that will host about 84 pupils ranging from ages 2- 4 years.
The event was well attended by senior government officials, Directors and senior staff of Orange SL, leaders and stakeholders of the community and neighboring villages.
During the event, the Chief Executive officer for Orange SL, Shekou Amadou Bah stated that one of the main objectives of building the school is to build educational learning and also lay the foundation for the Children future generation.
“Today Orange SL through it Foundation is proudly to have built 4 Ultramodern Early Childhood Development centers within the last two years at different districts, this include Kambia, Portloko, Pujehun and Moyamba district”, he said.
The Chief Executive officer also explained that his institution had already constructed an Ultramodern Early Childhood Development center in Tihun the Village of the President Julius Maada Bio which should be commission in May this year.
In his remarks, the President of the Republic of Sierra Leone Julius Maada Bio thanked Orange SL through it foundation for the initiative and as the matter of fact his village is one the beneficiary.
The president expressed that he is happy and more importantly been the secretary General of the United nation early child learning and urged the company to continued.
