The Sierra Leone Senior Male National Football Team (Leone Stars) has on Monday 14th November 2022 safely arrived in Fujairah, via Dubai, United Arab Emirates (UAE).
The Leone Stars of Sierra Leone are in the UAE for a week long training camp as part of their endless preparations for the Ivory Coast 2023 Africa Cup of Nations Qualifiers [AFCON].
Hosted at the Concorde Five Stars Hotel and Resort in the City of Fujairah, the team will engage in friendly matches during this period.
Meanwhile, the team had it first training session on Monday evening at the Fujairah Sports Stadium, and the physical and mental preparedness of the team appears to be quite stable. Thus far, there are no injuries in the camp.
The week long training camp and the matches are organized by the Sierra Leone Football Association (SLFA) under the administration of the President Thomas Daddy Brima and the Executive Committee Members.
As always, these friendly matches are entirely financed by the Government of the Republic of Sierra Leone under the astute leadership of His Excellency the President, Brigadier Retired Dr. Julius Maada Bio.
